SPORING PROMENADE - JÜPPALA KÄÄPIÖ

First album of JÜPPALA KÄÄPIÖ (experimental folk duo with Carole Zweifel) is ready for the release.

It is based on forest wandering like improvisation which is interwoven by instruments (viola, tabel-harp, kalimba, etc.), organic materials (shell, dry leaves, water, etc.), voices, and field recordgins.

We arranged those recordings like a drawing of the original map of our forest.

Now, we're looking for a label to publish this album. Please listen next samples first, and if you're interested to publish it, don't hesitate to contact us. We'll send you the demo cdr.

LIVE PERFORMANCE, WORKSHOP IN EUROPE

After the stay in Mongolia, I'll go back to Europe in late August.

SOLO SOUND PERFORMANCE

Spontaneous live composition of harmonically layered and looped sounds of daily objects, handmade instruments, traditional instruments and voices, might be with video and sound projection of prerecorded materials.

FOUND-SOUND WORKSHOP

Touching and playing daily objects with participants to find the voice of the objects themselves and to make musical structure with those sounds.

A presentation to find hidden sound in daily objects and the environment with various microphones and a recorder.

If there is a chance more than a day, the presentation to compose those found-sounds in computer, and the sound projection.
