RELEASE PLANEZO - Hitoshi KojoAlluvial Recordgins - 10" VinylTwo sound compositions 'Hiruko' and 'Ebisu' will be released from an American label 'Alluvial Recordings' on a 10" vinyl 'Ezo'. The main sound material of these compositions are taken from metal found objects. Kojo performed and recorded those objects in various locations like resonant space, and collaged the recorded materials in the compositions. These are specifically composed for the character of vinyl record which will be physically worn in time. Orignial sound sources were recorded in Kagoshima of Japan in 2003, Toscania of Italy and Lavaux of Switzerland in 2004. The composition was finished in Lavaux in 2005. As kojo's recent work, the impression is rather cruel like his first released recording 'Sacrifice + Phosphorus'. Turning Leaf Migrations - KodamaOlde English Spelling Bee - LPThis album contains 3 years archive of 'life' recordings with Michael Northam. Ananta - SpiracleThe Helen Scarsdale Agency - 2CDAround 60 minutes of drone piece, Ananta's alternate version 'strato mix' will be published with the previous version from 'Mystery Sea' which was published as 100 copies of limited CDR. The release will be in late 2008, but I'm very glad to have this release in most ideal format for this work. |
