Perruel
framework250 compilation
Format: CDR in a special handmade package (2 Volumes)
Issue: January 2010
My new composition "Perruel" is available on the "framework250" compilation.
framework is a internet radio program organized by Patrick McGinley, that mainly focuses on phonography/field recording.
This gorgeous compilation which includes over 40 artists! is the memorial issue for the 250th program that was accomplished in last September.
The titles of my composition was taken from the name of a village in France, where Patrick had lived until last Autumn for a few years.
The sound sources of this composition were mostly recorded at a shore of a stream in the village, when I visited Patrick at there with some friends.
I still often remember a salt-baked trouts that Patrick cooked by trouts from a pisciculture which the stream goes across, as well as small local folks who seemed to protect the pisciculture very well.
It is available only at framework website.
Please check framework website for the detail.

In Situ Action - Puidoux 050321
w/ Nobu Kasahara, Michael Northam, Jane Remm
Released site: Sound of Space
On-line: March 2009
One of 'in situ' recordings that I was involved in the past was broadcasted by Paulo Raposo's internet radio program 'Sound of Space'.
The idea to using a specific space maximumly as instruments would be close to 'revenant' project that we had a CD released in last December. See below.

This is a non-edited single take of 66 minutes improvisation with Sebastian Clinger and Micheal Northam, recorded at Johannes Dimpflmeier's studio in South Italy in 2004.

Ezo
Format: 10" Record
Label: Alluvial Recordings
Issue: February 2009
The sound source of these two compositions were all produced by "found-object" which were mostly found in daily commodities. The resonance of the inside of the objects and the recorded spaces were also treated as the material.
The vinyl record was fatally chosen for the album as an "object" which must be worn and be degraded by the condition and the frequency of the use. The noises by dusts and surface scratches on the disk should be listened as a part of the piece.
A short edit of a piece was included in The Wire Tapper 21

Limited 500 copies
KODAMA is a collaborative project with Michael Northam.
This document contians many live KODAMA sessions from 2004 to 2007 that are well embedded into strong atmospheres of particular locations : singing under a big night sky on the top of a mountain in switzerland, camping near to motor car races in ohio, getting rained on on lofoten island, norway and sonic meetings with night creatures in a slovenian forest.
